load officers from dealing with situations that don't require the potential use of force...e.g. mental health issues. btw, other states have done this...e.g. Eugene, Oregon's PD has been doing this for years...to the satisfaction of Police Officers there.

btw, as I've posted previously, even the Charles Koch Foundation has called for "De-Militarizing" Police Forces...fewer SWAT Teams...more Community Involvement.
