At least call it what it is if you support it: discretionary assumption of debt for something you deem worthwhile.

The fact that you have to lie about it undermines your case for it. Shaming people for not supporting "use of force" because it isn't actually "love" weakens your position. Instead, I suggest inviting others to contribute to a private charity that helps the situation.

If you are worried about fiscal responsibility, as you pretend when the GOP is in charge, then every discretionary assumption of debt needs to cut.
