I typically grab a second cup of coffee mid morning at a coffee shop.
As I entered the cafe today, I see a beautiful female (mid 20s) taking a closeup cellphone photo of the brown sleeve that is placed around her white cup filled with hot coffee, the thing that protects one’s hands. As I was getting my coffee, the female sat at a table, immediately working to disseminate the photo to her social media orbit.
The only logical explanation in my mind is that the female was orchestrating a digital alibi to provide cover in her complicity in a homicide or some crime, — which I would respect.
But, my strong sense is that the female is not engaged in criminality. Rather, the brown sleeve (that has the cafe’s insignia printed on it) was worthy of dissemination to her audience. And I guess that is the takeaway: the audience.
How many of her friends and loved ones replied to her photo of the brown sleeve? “Awesome! Best sleeve ever!” “OMG! Now I need a coffee!” “Love the design!”
We need a World War.
