What??? A 30% drop in violent crime over one year is implausible??? Go on!!!

Every city should be flying in the DC commissioner to learn the secrets to making violent crime rates plummet! Did anyone bother to ask anyone in DC how precisely they went about effecting such a miraculous drop?
