Z has a history of tough behavior against journalist who write the wrong things …but even that has been “fact checked” to his favor. Sigh.
I can site polls, and you can doubt them as well.
We are left with only a few things we can be sure of:
-Ukrainians are dying in large numbers daily.
-The war is unwinnable without triggering WWIII.
- the cost is unsustainable for allies
-Putin is a monster
My answer - compromise for peace but make it verifiable. Make it clear to Zelensky that if he scuttles the deal with an attack or some such, he is on his own until Uk changes leadership - and pressure for that change.
Which, of course, is what they would claim to seize control. A catch 22. But…
