And if you want to say that Trump was prosecuted for being a criminal, then I guess these people are having their clearances removed because they are untrustworthy.
Big difference was pointed out by Hensou, though. You violate rights; Trump takes away privileges. You are the authoritarian supporter. Trump is trying to undo authoritarianism.
