The Dem Party is hemorrhaging voters, and has been since 2020. The farther left they go, the worse it gets, instead of being reasonable and moving back to the middle, they double down and go even further left.
This is because the hard core liberal agenda (and communism) is a religious cause to them, and they are zealots who are not interested in reason.

The Dem Party Leaders know what is happening. The open borders was a play to flood on new voters along with more lax voting laws provided by COVID (which was a big reason why the medical agencies and recommendations became so politicized) -Dems needed shut down to allow the Mail In Non ID voting laws.

Trump upset their apple cart, and now they are irrational.

Regarding gerrymandering, recall that the TX move by Republicans was I. Response to past gerrymandering by the Dems. If you look across the country at blue and purple states, they are already gerrymandered extensively - far, far more than red and purple states.
Thus, while Gavin Newsome may have made libs feel empowered by gerrymandering the remainder of his state to counter theTexas R move, this is not a fight that they really want to get into. Republicans have far, far more seats to be gained by a nationwide gerrymander war than Dems…..and they know it. (Have you wondered how these radicals have such a strong voice compared to what you see?).

The solution to the Dems problem is simple - move away from the radical Left….but that is who is leading their party.

Expect them to try more crazy attacks on Trump (who is now immune to them).
Watch for more bullets - violence comes from the Left.
