The American people deserve someone in a position of power who can focus on their job completely rather than having their attention diverted toward defending themselves in a very uphill legal battle. Employment or commensurate compensation
awaits them if they can clear their name in the very unlikely scenario where they have a legitimate explanation for the charges and evidence. Now they will have their full time available to do so.
Also, a member of the board of the Federal reserve with a banking fraud charge is an extremely bad look. Her credibility is shot.
