Your Avoidance Strategy isn't going over very well...Assault Rifles are of no benefit to the

general public...yet evidence shows they are regularly used in Mass Shootings...too often with little kids as the victims. There is No Redeeming Value that offsets all those Maimings and Deaths...they need to be Banned...ASAP...while putting money into understanding and changing how people come to see such horrific behavior as something they should do.

Just remember that such people are typically in the shadows, and waiting for a solution to those "Root Causes", while NOT banning their Weapons of Choice, keeps the probability of more. such shootings the same or higher. The "Cost" vs "Benefit" ratio on this decision couldn't be easier...Ban Assault Weapons.
