Further on the "Illegals" issue...there are millions of Un-Documented immigrants who have been allowed to stay here...LEGALLY...in accordance with our Laws...i.e. they are awaiting final disposition of their requests for some form of legal/documented status. Meanwhile, they are frankly indispensable, law abiding and hardworking members of our society who pay more in taxes than the value of all benefits they receive. We NEED them...especially for Agriculture, Construction, Hospitality, Work Place Maintenance, etc. jobs that no native born Americans are lining up for. On top of that, because they need those jobs after uprooting themselves from their homelands, they don't make waves and try not to attract Police attention...studies in Texas show them to be less likely to commit crimes than the native-born citizens. Even Trump has hired un-documented immigrants...people you would call "Illegals"...at his resorts, hotels, etc. BTW, I've provided documentation on all of these items.

Our U.S. Chamber of Commerce has said that we need millions MORE immigrants to take up some of the slack left by retiring Boomers...we can't replace them with new births, since it'll take decades for them to enter the workforce, so the only alternative is bringing in Immigrants. We just need funding for better border security and processing of those who we should welcome...and the Bipartisan 2024 Senate Bill did just that...and even more than what DJT called on Congress for in 2019. Democrats are all for more CBP and ICE Officers (it's in that Bill) and more staff to reduce waiting times for 'Documented Status' from 6+ yrs to less than 6 months, as well as more deportations when necessary (with Due Process)....but DJT killed it. Again, I've provided documentation to support my statements.

We actually share the same goals, I'm sure...but honestly, Trump is breaking our laws (see "Due Process") for Populist Political reasons...i.e. Power...in order to rile folks like you up and get your votes.
