Demagogues appeal to prejudices, which he did not do. If you watch his debates, he let his opponents explain their positions before using cold logic to respond. I know you don't think all people who (1) disagree with you and (2) communicate well, are demagogues, so why Kirk?

Evil preaches tolerance until it is dominant, then it tries to silence good.
