Notably:
- She wanted Buttigieg as her running mate, but they thought it was a bad match for voters with her own demographics. Personally, I can't fathom how they thought Walz was a better option - while I don't like Buttigieg, Walz deservedly aroused a special level of bile from much of the voting population. I don't think it was the upgrade they viewed it as, but on paper, I get the sentiment.
- She felt between a rock and a hard place in discussing Biden's mental acuity. She didn't feel like she could push for him to not run in 2024, as it would open a whole can of worms and new questions for her to answer. But in spite of remaining quiet, she still felt like there was still hostility towards her from the White House.
