…..As I have said before during COVID -I say again here. I want more than a large meta analysis study to make decisions. I consider these sometimes informative but lazy studies that are prone to problems. Some of these studies bunched into the meta analysis in this case relied on self reporting as well as inadequate controls.
We should always rely on prospective, randomized trials on which to base recommendations when possible.
This did not happen during COBID do to politicization of medicine……it is not ok that it should happen now.
