Gynecologists (Baron's Specialty), as well as many other Physicians and Scientists all recommend the use of 'Tylenol' in order to reduce the risk of harm to mother and baby during pregnancy...after consultation with their doctor, and then only in the lowest dosage and frequency needed to treat the fever....they do not categorically advise against taking that fever reducing drug, since the alternatives entail more risk to mother and baby.
The members of those organizations have seen all the studies...and more...that you reference.. They care as much as anyone for the health and well-being of pregnant moms and babies.
BTW, ask Baron if he agrees with ACOG...and if he's ever advised his patients to take Tylenol when they've experienced fevers Surprisingly, I haven't heard a peep from him over this issue that lands squarely in his bailiwick.
