Not an excuse for the behavior…just a comment on typical media behavior….
BTW, was there all day Sunday all over the course and there was no over the line behavior anywhere in my immediate vicinity at any time.
That said, did see 6 NY State troopers run across the 17th FW while I was up at the tee box chatting with Ben Crenshaw. So something certainly happened there…
Somewhat surprised the $750 minimum daily entrance fee didn’t skew the makeup of the crowd to the more considerate. Flip side, of course, if you charge people that much, some unfortunately feel they have the right to do anything…
Someone should really work on some creative US chants before Adare. Euros just adopt them from their football….
