In the entire history of history, Dems have never favored reducing spending on anything, except the military (and police). It's almost programmed within their genes. And anytime anyone speaks of cuts, they wheel out the most unfortunate clumps of humanity to argue that this is who will suffer if we dare to cut anything. Oh, and there is never any abuse of the system or fraud. No sir.
