In other words, if Federal employees aren't allowed to do their job either because of the incalcitrance of local officials/police or just plain incompetence, should the Federal government just stop doing that work in that particular state?

What if Utah and its entire population, let's say, just decided to stop paying Federal taxes? Would that be ok?

If you don't want to be subject to the laws of the U.S. and uphold those laws, then there's a process for that: secession. States don't set immigration laws. The Fedeal government does.

Imposing corporate abuse, neglect and greed on deserving victims.
