(based on a NYT survey back in 2016)...but that being said, most "normal" people would not stick, through thick and thin, to a proven Immoral, Unethical...and Criminal Political Leader who publicly violated standards they held dear (e.g. by Raping, Cheating, Lying, etc., etc.) while at the same time not accomplishing anything for the betterment of ALL Americans.
Dr. Razzaque's analysis of such Trump supporters yields a strong correlation with people who share common fears and hatreds of certain groups...like people who aren't "White, Straight or Christian"...and since those attitudes are so central to their personal identity, Trump's Presidential Megaphone against such people champions their innermost feelings, thus making it nearly impossible for them to discard him...it would be like denying their own personas. Makes perfect sense.
