Congress has deferred a lot of authority to POTUS.

As recently as a couple months ago, this bothered me. Granted, Congress made its bed, so it had no right to complain, but it bothered me that Congress would do that.

Now, we have a POTUS who uses these powers as normal tools in his toolbox...and he is doing it quite effectively. I'm starting to think POTUS should have this power so it can be used quickly and decisively... and not through months of deliberations by Congress, or even go unused due to a paralyzed Congress as we have now... a Congress which cannot even live up to its constitutional power/obligation to set a budget.

Bottom line, China is 1935 United States when it comes to manufacturing, and we won WWII with manufacturing. That should be a concern to us, but Congress is totally unconcerned. At least our president is concerned and taking action.

Evil preaches tolerance until it is dominant, then it tries to silence good.
