I googled this, and the first hit was a PBS report stating that Trump didn't ask the Supreme Court to pause SNAP payments. Rather, "the administration asked an appeals court to suspend any court orders requiring it to spend more money than is available in a contingency fund, and instead allow it to continue with planned partial SNAP payments for the month."

Evil preaches tolerance until it is dominant, then it tries to silence good.
