IMO, Greene miscalculated the politics of a 2026 primary.

Voters admire courage. Her district would have her back against Trump’s pawn. Winning the primary would embolden her power.

Is she going to run for Senate in 2026 against Ossoff? Doubtful. But, I don’t think she resigned without another path.

Playing long game, Greene should have stayed put, and welcomed a Primary.
