We should be extremely grateful to live in a society that is not incredibly tribal and corrupt, The various groups here are in a perpetual conflict that prevents any meaningful progress and the level of hatred is marginally genocidal.
I suppose this goes back many many centuries. The fact that we got a fresh start at governance by a relatively homogeneous group of folks was extremely propitious. But the key to the future requires assimilation. The Euros are learning this the hard way,
Open borders is suicidal.
