Remember that it was the Heritage Foundation that came up with "Romneycare" and the 'Individual Mandate' for Massachusetts...upon which, Obama was able to force insurance Co's to relent on Pre-Existing conditions, etc. Wish the HF would join with Brookings and work together on this extremely important issue. Agree?
To say that the ACA is not perfect is as trite as you can get. Democrats are more than willing to improve upon it...unfortunately, the GOP is just the legislative arm of the HC Industry and the reason our HC costs are 2X that of any other developed country.
Time to get serious and start discussing specific remedies...especially on how to get RID of the Middlemen.
