Imagine a one page tax code with no deductions or credits, where everyone could do their own taxes. It would destroy an entire tax industry that sucks the blood out of the system with no return societal benefit. Imagine a society where tax accountants and tax lawyers had to do something that benefitted society instead. Bit we will be told that would be unjust by those who secretly support the rich while publicly stating that they support the poor by getting them on the dole as opposed to enabling them to independently succeed.

Evil preaches tolerance until it is dominant, then it tries to silence good.
