This is like what you do with Pope Francis: Find a casual interview of him on a plane with a reporter, and then use a quote from the non-authoritative discussion to pretend that Church doctrine has been re-written. "The Church supports abortion!" And yet, that is not how it works, and everyone sees through your attempts to mislead regarding Church doctrine.
Now you have a PBS News Hour interview with a former justice saying the Bill of Rights is flawed and overrated...and you want to use that to rewrite US civil rights law. Again, that's not how this works.
