According to initial reports, no KIA. Hopefully, Trump froze Hegseth out again as he did for the Irani operation. Another interesting thing of note is that Maduro was apprehended exactly 36 years after we apprehended Noriega.

I’m looking forward to the after action report. I know Delta got Maduro, but I’d also be interested to see if any conventional units will be deployed. I highly doubt all of the loyalists will give up fighting right away. We shall see.

My concerns: installing a “puppet” government…will it work and be effective? Will the general population buy in? Was the operation more about oil than toppling a dictator of a failed state? I highly doubt Trump cares about the people of Venezuela. The next few weeks, months, and possibly years will be interesting to say the least.
