I don't see how this could be bad for Venezuela.
I don't know if this will be good or bad for the US in the long run. I'm willing to wait and see, and vote accordingly. You, on the other hand, oppose this because Trump is doing it, and would be supporting it if, say, President Gavin Newsome were doing it.
