The fact he was able to step to the right may have been exactly because he shot her so that she didn't try to take him out. She also may not have seen him as she was disobeying orders, but again that shot may have also saved his life.

Bottom line, don't do stupid things like this to create circumstances where this can happen.

ICE has a right to be there. In fact, they are there because of Dem policy which didn't vet anyone crossing the border that they opened and then enticed crossings.
