Who paid for Soldier Field upgrades? If not the Bears, then I have a problem with it….

…..I fully understand wanting to get out of the deep blue city nightmare that is Chicago and its taxes/regs/crime/corruption.

But the Bears should pay the tax payers back for any costs they dotted wrt their football facilities if they are going to now leave.
Most teams have it covered by the city taxpayers these days which is BS given their profitability. I understand that they probably can avoid such payment if they leave, but that still doesn’t make it right.

    • Doubtful Indiana will ever get the Bears. I'm not against it, but it feels like this move is more - guiness4everyone - 6:34pm 1/13/26

    • Kind of like the NY Jets/Giants playing in NJ. Or the Chiefs moving from MO to KS. [NT] - Shadow_of_the_Dome - 5:25pm 1/13/26
