Mr. Pretti worked. Have you considered that he had that Carry Permit to provide extra protection for Doctors and other Nurses in case a Security Guard was overwhelmed and had his weapon taken?...Also note that ER and ICU Docs and Nurses are often "On Call" to show up at any time, Day or Night...so, Mr. Pretti would need his weapon with him All The Time.

Being a MAGA, that's too much to comprehend, so I'll give you a pass for innate ignorance.

      • A knife is a lethal weapon. - Hensou - 7:00pm 1/25/26
        • Exactly my point. Neither the presence of a firearm or knife justified use of deadly force. [NT] - conorlarkin - 7:28pm 1/25/26
          • Yes, wait til you get shot or stabbed to defend yourself. [NT] - Hensou - 9:42pm 1/25/26

          • I have a permit. My first rule: don't go places where I have to carry. - NedoftheHill - 5:58pm 1/25/26
