But why close it all down for 10 days?

Could be specific intelligence of a planned attack. Maybe ground-to-air.

Could be just an overload of drone activity that they need to clear out.

It would be weird if it lasted 10 days, though. El Paso is so far from other cities that this ban effectively closes it off. Hope those folks don’t have travel plans.
