Critical thinking requires OBJECTIVE analysis. It is not exercised by hyper-partisans.

Hence the death of "objective journalism" as an example.

This board has devolved generally into a partisan tennis match of sorts and is nearly devoid of any true critical thinking, or even very many good faith attempts.

Nearly all (if not all) genuine stabs at critical thinking here are promptly met with a flurry of gaslighting. This place has become comedic, just like our national discourse, in a seriously tragic way.

Tyrone will proffer demonstrable nonsense like, for instance, "the Upper East Side of Manhattan is 'strongly conservative'..." with a straight face and THEN hold HIMSELF out as a "critical thinker".

Hyper-partisans at least mistakenly believe they are exercising critical thinking, for whatever that's worth.

Propagandists know for a fact they are not.
