because he tried to be methodical and show thoughtful fairness in a difficult situation where a mendacious corrupted ex-president was involved. Stuck between honesty, honor, conscience and integrity he was unsuccessful in reading the ex-POTUS, his actions and actions of his corrupt minions - instead of firing off in an attack on the ex-POTUS he delayed believing the justice system in the US would work as it usually had expecting in return the integrity, honesty and most of all true American values to come through.

When in fact the opposite is what happened - trumps minions and acolytes and doubled down and more to protect his legacy and obstructed every action the DOJ took causing a delay in getting the job done.

Sure, why wasn’t Epstein put away two decades ago by other administrations which includes trumps 1st term?

In light of that, Bondi’s point is moot and so is yours other than Garland was a poor choice as AG but that sure doesn’t mean Bondi is a better choice in fact she and her cohorts, including trump, have almost completely broken the DOJ with their blatant lawlessness - a complete attack on the justice system as well as the constitution. And you Ned-jerk reaction posters have a hand in this by applauding not condemning this corrupt administration.
