Phishing scams.

Is anyone else noticing a significant uptick in phishing scams the last couple of weeks? I'm getting a couple a day it seems from email addresses of people I work with.

I got one last week that looked odd, so before opening the attachment I sent an email to the sender asking if the email was legit. Got an immediate reply that it was and they were waiting for me to sign the doc, which seemed odd as we have no deals in the works, so I let it simmer for a bit. About an hour later I got an email from the sender's IT Dept saying their emails had been compromised and not to click on any links or open any attachments. So not only were the hackers using this guy's email for outgoing phishing, they were intercepting and replying to his incoming emails. Bizarre.

Anyone else seeing this?
