I've often said many "experts" lack the logical ability to know how to use their knowledge

Just because you have the ability to learn something doesn't necessarily translate into knowing how to use your knowledge. That's a different skill altogether.

Chris rips on me because he thinks people who are academically credentialed in the field (except for Dr. Risch) are the only ones qualified to weigh in on matters in that field. Yet, there are countless examples of ordinary people knowing better about aspects of that subject than do the "experts."
