I especially like the "Let's bring back caning and dueling" part. High points in the history of our government, the caning of Charles Sumner and the death of Alexander Hamilton. Yeah, let's bring that back. Put it on pay-per-view!
I enjoyed more the report a few months back about Scott Bessent, at age 63, challenging another administration official who is 40 to step outside because Bessent thought this guy was talking about him behind his back. First of all, a Cabinet member challenging someone to a fistfight should immediately be termination material, but then this phenomenon of old guys thinking they can beat up guys decades younger is humorous. I've seen many showdowns like this. In all but a handful of cases, the younger guy gets in a punch and the old guy doesn't even react because his reflexes have slowed so much.
