That's my prediction at beginning of the war and still my prediction now. I could be wrong of course. But if that happens, I would say it is truly a win for both sides, I mean U.S. and Iran, not including Israel. The goal of U.S. is about Iran's nuclear threat, not Hormuz. If that goal is achieved, yes, we can claim victory. The goal of Iran is not nuclear weapons. Because if had Iran really wanted nuclear weapons, they would have got it, granted they would have paid very heavy price of isolation by the world and become north korea. But if a small country like North Korea was able to develop nuclear weapons, a big country like Iran whose STEM education is in top rank of world, would certainly can. The issue is if they are willing to pay the price. I believe now they are willing to trade concessions on nuclear program with control of Hormuz and profit sharing with Oman. You can say Hormuz is Iran's new nuclear weapon.
As for Israel, the whole country has become too crazy. 95% of its people supported what Israel has done in Gaza and over 60% support war with Iran. We can't go crazy with them.
