is idiotic. Massie is the exact opposite of that. There's a fair amount on which I disagree with him, but he's one of about three members of Congress with principles. He lost because Trump was pissed at him because Massie didn't get on board with the Administrations's big spending bill and he was against the Iran War. Plus, Massie endorsed and stuck with Desantis over Trump. Voting against Massie because Trump is pissed at him is a poor reason to cast that vote. Not to mention that his primary opponent was another empty suit placed on the ballot because he was a Navy Seal. Not exactly a relevant qualification for elected office. Massie's positions in 2026 were no different than the previous five times he was up for election. He isn't what changed.
