Have you ever heard the Phrase "Politics is like a Sausage Factory"? (from Otto Von Bismarck)...

With so many ingredients (citizen needs...special interest desires) it's incredibly difficult to get legislation produced that satisfies enough of the electorate to willingly consume it. ..and the process of making the 'product' isn't always 'palatable' or pretty.

The key here is to see what our political system has actually delivered...and which party stands proudly behind it. Recent cases include Obama's commitment to providing Health Care to tens of millions of Americans who previously had no HC Insurance...no regular physician visits or lab tests for themselves or their children. At considerable political cost and capital, he and his team achieved the ACA, which is now impossible to repeal, given that even deeply Red States won't let go of their own instantiations of the law (e.g. "KYnect" in Kentucky). Another case is Biden's "Infrastructure" Bill that many GOP legislators publicly derided in D.C., but at home, took credit for. [If anyone would like to take a 'Deep Dive' into the "Sausage Making" that went into the ACA, read Steven Brill's book "America's Bitter Pill"]

On the Republican side...all we have from DJT are a couple of Deficit Inflating on Tax Breaks for corporations and the wealthiest Americans...That's It...yet MAGAs continue to ingest Promises instead of actual Products...
