Heck, even Ted Kennedy tried to collude with the Soviets, offering to reverse Reagan's "militaristic" policies if they could help him get elected.

In the case of Iran, the Democrats have been trying to protect Iran from Trump all along, and constantly parrot Iranian talking points in US media. (No need to note that a large portion of Democrat supporters hate Israel, and would support a Democrat with a Nazi tattoo, but not a Democrat with a Jewish tattoo.)

Given all of that, is there any reason to think that Democrats won't assist Iran just to spite Trump? This would have been unthinkable in the past. Old school Democrats would have just taken the Trump win, and moved forward. But, today, I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to reverse his policies out of spite for him, and contrary to the interests of the United States.
