...after a couple of minutes of research I discovered that the estimated Gulf of Mexico deep ocean reserves this technology would make available amounts to ~27 Bbls...not bad.
Then, after a few more seconds of research to verify what I remembered from previous back and forth's on this issue, I found that the U.S. Consumes ~7.5 Bbls a year.

So...we've bought ourselves nearly 4 yrs worth of "Energy Independence"...Fantastic!...only there's a lurking problem...see if you can find it in the following video...(for added introspection...do some research on the "Deepwater Horizon" Disaster in 2010)

Note further, that the financing of Nuclear Power Plants Includes Decommissioning and Clean Up...these oil rigs/wells Do Not...as the video explains.
