A story about a child rapist being helped by the Left ... you knee-jerk defend that.

A story about a woman being regularly attacked in the workplace ... you knee-jerk defend the company and the attackers.

The WSJ has an article today stating that since Oct. 7, 70% of religious attacks in Canada have been against Jews, 1% of the population. Responses from the prime minister and the mayor of Toronto? Fight Islamophobia: The article is about suicidal empathy, an example of which is "whenever Jews are attacked, Western leaders should urge us to redouble our efforts to defeat Islamophobia. To do otherwise would be mean, racist, bigoted.”

You are doing the same thing. You can somehow virtue signal (perversely), by sympathizing with violent attackers (why? skin color???), and look down on the Right when it seeks justice for victims (who are not members of groups you want to protect).

You are exhibiting a pattern. Ask yourself why.
