Babe Ruth obviously the greatest of all time. The best I saw over a 4 year period was Mickey Mantle over an 8 year period was Willie Mays. Those old ball parks were not small parks either. Clemente had to deal with a huge field in Pittsburgh. Candlestick was a tough park to hit them out and Deron Johnson once said about Mantle that if he played in Wrigley Field he would have hit 80 homers a year. Yanke Stadium power alleys and center field were huuuge. How bad a football season is it if I am taling about baseball? Oh yeah your namesake Hank Aaron wasn't bad wither although he played in a band box and his numbers came over a ton of time and with the DH in effect later in his career.
