Do you remember condemning Trump for his Travel Ban and used court rulings to back up your claims? Now the SCOTUS rules 9-0 that he has the right to impose the ban - at least until an argument can be made otherwise in court, and you quietly concede the point.
This will be the same. You have already backed away from your initial position that Trump was colluding with Russia. You hope for an obstruction charge or perhaps some distant crony being caught, but with every day bringing no evidence, even your confidence is now eroding.
At this point, you pin your hopes (yes hopes) on an Obama and Bush establishment crony finding something that hasn't been found before. More amazingly, you actually believe that if such evidence does exist, that the corrupt IC department and Mueller investigation team hasn't leaked it yet.
Three months from now, you will still be hoping. One year from now, the same. I have no doubt that Mueller is a political appointee with the "sterling reputation of a James Comey".
He will try his best, but he will have to back up his claims, and he just can't create something out of nothing.
