d, I don't really recall the facts other than the accusations were made long after the incident. It doesn't make it right, but it certainly makes a case harder to prove.
Many are nervous to bring things forward, I get that. But, and again you're conflating issues, my original post is simply noting that throwing out accusations without following it up is not right. It borders on slanderous, but the women are careful to just talk vaguely. Are some scared to comment more specifically? I'm sure they are. A listers have every right - I'll argue a moral right - to come forward with more facts if they truly were assaulted or abused, especially as a child.
