the thread, if a women was harassed previously (as a kid or as an adult) and is now throwing out accusations without going to authorities, that is wrong. In fact, I can make the case those sorts of posts do more harm than good. A young impressionable actress may say, she didn't go, so I shouldn't either. I'm not saying there is a time limit on it; there shouldn't be. What's wrong is wrong, whether it happened years ago or 5 minutes ago. Am I saying it's easy, nope. Whistleblowing is hard. What I am saying is that the environment is receptive right now, so don't just throw it out there and not capitalize on it.
As for your last paragraph, it makes no sense. Some of the most powerful people in Hollywood with actual F-U money refuse to provide more details to authorities other than to say they know it goes one. That's shameful when such a moral issue is a stake and again proves my point and really perpetuates what has gone on...play the game and get rich and famous, who cares if you sold your soul.
