are fallen creatures. We are extremely weak and given power over others, we will inevitably abuse it in some way without safeguards that enable a sober majority to police us, along with a strong religious ethic. When you have a society that is increasingly populated by people who believe they are ultimately accountable to anyone for their misdeeds on earth, and have substituted a secular religion for an authentic one, you get people who do such things without questioning them. Add on to that the impression that they will receive support or even encouragement from those above them, and this isn't as shocking as it might first appear.
Yes, cheering for the unvaccinated of a particular color to die is demonic. Yes, tying masks to the faces of people who cannot speak or resist is demonic. Yes, intentionally destroying the innocence of children is demonic (and Jesus spoke of what we should do if we lead children to sin). Yes, those things and so many other things occurring right now smack of demonism, and that can be profoundly depressing, but someone said this to me last summer, and it bears repeating: "Remember, in the end, we win." I think you understood what he meant, as I did.
