That article was written this past July just before the Delta variant surged here...the numbers have

changed upward for serious illness and to some degree, deaths...nonetheless, the CDC's Advisory Panel voted unanimously in favor of vaccinating kids 5 yrs and up...based on the risks of not being vaccinated vs. getting vaccinated...now if you have a case as to why they should rescind that recommendation, be sure to send them an email with all your backup data ;-).
