We hope the young man is afforded a fair trial.
We hope the jury holds the State of Wisconsin to their demanding burden of proof. The US Constitution requires so.
Two people died. A 17 year old boy who had no business/experience being armed with a deadly weapon, was walking around the streets with a semi automatic rifle, apparently responding to President Trump's cries for "law 'n order." That in itself should trouble us.
I have not followed the trial. Watched 10 minutes of cross examination yesterday. Not all that impressed.
But judging from the threads, I gather posters like you will celebrate a Not Guilty verdict, akin to what many did when OJ was acquitted (albeit not a self defense case).
Verdicts are the province of the jury. Folks who take to the streets to condemn or celebrate verdicts diminish all of us.
