That's nearly impossible to answer. We do know a few things:
1. The claim that "one in five women on campuses are sexually assaulted" is bunk. But then, you already knew that. I have yet to encounter a statistic emanating from feminists that is anything but bunk.
2. The commonly cited statistic that "2-8%" of sexual assault claims are false is also bunk. Both of these are "deconstructed" by Stuart Taylor and his co-author in the link below. Given the particularly murky lines drawn between consent and lack of consent on college campuses where binge drinking is rampant, the number is undoubtedly higher. How much higher is up for debate. What's as disturbing is the "institutionalized" one-sidedness of these kangaroo courts that convene on these murky matters. That should trouble any reasonable, thinking adult, particularly those with sons.
